Pageant Week Begins Tomorrow!

Miss New Jersey Pageant Week (unofficially) starts tomorrow with the Miss New Jersey First Annual Silvia Barthold Memorial Golf Outing. It continues with the official opening Tuesday morning with Arrival and Check-in in Ocean City followed by a visit to Historic Smithville, and the annual Tee Shirt Decorating Contest.

Wednesday brings with it the fan favorite, Miss New Jersey "Show Us Your Shoes" Boardwalk Parade. The judges will have a chance to hold private interviews with the contestants Thursday morning. On-stage preliminary competitions will take place Thursday and Friday evenings at the Music Pier.

Thursday evening Group 1 will compete in Talent with Group 2 competing in Swimwear, Evening Gown, and On-stage Question. Friday night Group 1 will compete in Swimwear, Evening Gown and On-stage Question with Group 2 performing their Talents. Saturday night will be the finals where the top ten contestants will re-compete in the on-stage aspects of competition. This will culminate in the crowning of Miss New Jersey 2011. Immediately following will be the Coronation Reception in the Grand Ball Room at the Flanders Hotel where the new Miss New Jersey will make her first official appearance.

This year 23 distinguished young women will have the chance to compete for the crown.
